GRILLS / GENERATORS
Never use a grill or generator in home. Grills and generators give off CO and will fill your home with CO.
DETECTORS
Test your smoke detectors and CO detectors monthly. Change your batteries when you change your clocks for daylight savings time. Review your owner's manual for specifics on your detectors.
DISASTERS
Have a family disaster plan. When storms strike, 1st responders cannot reach everyone immediately. Be prepared to live without basic services for three days.
