​The Grantsburg Volunteer Fire Department has been protecting  the resident, businesses, and visitors of Grantsburg since 1873.

All members of the Grantsburg Volunteer Fire Department are classified as paid per call firefighters that respond to car accidents, structure fires, wildland fire natural disasters, and other emergencies when needed.
